Great location, great food, and great drinks.

Owners are great and hang around the bar. Humble and down to earth. Great improvement of the menu over the past year. Best place for live music. My go to spot to take dates.

I had a great time here. Live music, the band was real smooth and had the crowd jumpin! I ordered a spinach salad with salmon, cranberries, feta cheese and onions, so good!! My waitress Brooke, had great customer service and a great personality, I would say that she needs more training. I originally ordered a Remy with cranberry juice. She had no idea what Remy was. I was really taken aback by that because Remy is a basic drink. They didn't have Remy Martin so I ordered a margarita; which was delicious. The salad was so good I forgot to take a picture to post because I ate it so fast. The food was not expensive which is always a plus.

This is probably my favorite Royal Oak drinking spot. I've been going here for 20 years. It is mostly a restaurant with fantastic food, but I usually go there for later night drinks. Live acoustic music at least on the weekends which is always really fun. The staff here is amazing, some of them have been there for as long as I've been going. The service is great, even when the place is super packed, I always seem to be able to squeeze to the bar and get a drink. I typically end my bar nights here.

Food is always good, this place also does a fantastic job of supporting musicians and every Wednesday night there seems to be love music. The owner and bartender Sean is super friendly and overall wonderful person.

Management and staff are awesome as well as the food.

I come here often they usually have good live music, food and service.On the 9th of Nov. the food was really bad in fact I thought of never coming back. The hostess Amanda happened to stop by and ask how everything was and when we told her how bad the food was she took charge, took our food away, got the manager, got it taken off our bill, the manager John bought us two free drinks and restored our confidence that even though the situation wasn't good at least they were willing to make amends. They need a help wanted sign for the kitchen in my opinion. But the management and wait staff are top notch.

I had such a great time here! Jibs Brown was performing (he's fantastic!), food was good, wine was good. I will be bringing friends back to Oak City Grille.

Fun atmosphere including a diverse crowd of diners and drinkers. The live stage music is usually fun and upbeat, but can be a little loud. But the strong drinks help to overcome that. 🤪

Amazing food and drinks, great services, and live acoustic music every evening. Intimate live music experience. The Honey Chipotle Salmon is absolutely amazing and is by far one of favorite meals anywhere. Several of their meals are nothing short of fantastic and that is why they have become our go to restaurant when were dining out.

Amazing happy hour! Loved the chicken strips and sirloin. The only odd thing is that a miller light cost the same as a craft IPA. Note sure $4.25 for a miller light is a special. Still, worth spending more on beer for the happy hour food.

Went in St. Patrick's Day to listen to the band JUST US II, and was so happy to discover this gem. Great atmosphere, excellent food and good company. We will go back again. What a great place for this holiday, for a cozy dinner or to watch the game!

Great neighborhood dinner spot with a wide variety of craft cocktails and beer on tap. I haven't had a chance to try their new menu items yet, but I hear they're great. If I have a large party, this is usually my go-to spot. Great live music also.

Great drinks, fantastic appetizers

Service was perfectly alright. The food was bad diner quality. It was very dark in the restaurant and music was loud enough you couldn't talk with the person across from you.

Staple of Royal oak. Great spot for drinks or with friends and dinner. Been going here for over 15 years. Never disappoints.

Very good food and service.

Great venue although it's on the smaller side. It can get cramped quick for a holiday party or concert. Food wasn't bad but I went for a holiday gathering so the menu may have been different. The crab cakes didn't resemble crab cakes which wasn't a bad thing. The puff balls or puff pastries were stuffed with cheese and spinach and are awesome.

I wouldn't reccomend this restaurant. There are too many other restaurants in Royal Oak to choose from that have good food. Entertainment wasn't bad.

Food is AMAZING! Our server Traci, was VERY friendly, quick, was ON TOP of everything. She must have some sort of super power, I didn't have to ask for anything. It's like she just knew what we all wanted before we did. She's AMAZING, and even MORE AMAZING considering it was SUPER busy here tonight!THANKS TRACI!

Spinach and artichoke dip and toasted pita was fantastic. Drinks are cheap and the music was fantastic. Saw this duo called The Dave's I Know (yeah, weird name, right?) but they killed it. Great place.
